Cenla Sluggers

The 12u Sluggers had another great weekend of baseball. The boys faced some of the stingiest pitching they’ve seen. So, while our bats were not as hot as usual or as we would have liked them to be, our pitching stepped up as well as our defense and kept us in every game. All of the boys contributed and played well but we just came up short and placed third. Josh Boyett threw a shut out through 5 innings and Josh Crawford came in to close against the Whitecaps. Add excellent defense - results 6-0. That’s just to brag a little - overall 4-1 on the weekend.

Congratulations to the 12u Sluggers. You guys are exceeding expectations, and are truly the greatest bunch of young men we have ever had the opportunity to coach and be around. Stay focused, more good things are coming your way.
